We like pictures that give you a reason to look twice.

At first glance, these are familiar park posters: a mountain above the trees, a plume rising from a volcano, sunlight on a quiet lake. Then you read the activities. Dragon watching? You look again. There it is, just above the mountain.

That little discovery is the idea behind Mildly Fantastic. We begin with historic public-domain artwork, restore it digitally, and add something that almost belongs. A creature tucked into the landscape. A few extra words in the list of things to do. Enough to let your imagination wander, while keeping the picture you fell in love with.

The parks already do most of the work. We just leave a little room for the impossible.
